Walmart has detailed its back-to-school program for the 2026 season, offering what it describes as its lowest prices since 2019 on the 14 most popular school supplies found on classroom lists across the country, with select items starting at 25 cents.
The retailer said it is offering more than 1,300 additional Rollbacks compared with last year. The assortment includes school supplies and accessories that let students personalize backpacks and binders, licensed merchandise from K-Pop Demon Hunters, backpack charms, items tied to the Butter collectible trend and stationery from Papier for older students.
The company’s back-to-school lunch basket features nutritious options at an average cost of less than $2 per lunch, based on featured item prices valid through Sept. 14, excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and not including pickup or delivery fees. One-click meals in the retailer’s Recipe Hub can be delivered in as little as 30 minutes through Express Delivery, which carries a fee and is available at select stores.
In apparel and beauty, Walmart is featuring refreshed collections from Wonder Nation, the one-year mark of its Weekend Academy brand and beauty brands including La Roche-Posay, Kitsch, Mills by Millie Bobby Brown and Starface, along with eyewear through its Vision Center.
Walmart also is offering immunizations, vision care and health essentials, with a Walmart Wellness Day scheduled for July 25 featuring immunizations and wellness screenings.
For college students, this year’s back-to-college assortment includes a value basket called the College Grocery Haul featuring stock-up essentials under $35 at featured item prices through Sept. 14, along with décor, organization solutions, technology and everyday necessities for campus life. Digital experiences including College Wishlist, Dynamic Showroom and Be Your Own Model are designed to help students plan and personalize their shopping.
Walmart+ Student offers a full Walmart+ membership for $49 a year, with benefits including free delivery on orders over $35, 10 cents off per gallon at participating gas stations and a choice of Peacock Premium or Paramount+ Essential.
For teachers, Walmart is offering organization solutions and low prices on classroom essentials, along with an assortment of teacher gifts starting at $2.48.
Customers can shop classroom supply lists in the Walmart app and create classroom registries, with in-store shopping, curbside pickup, Express Delivery, fast shipping and Walmart+ among the retailer’s fulfillment options.
