Woodlake Market, a reimagined market and food hall in Kohler, Wisconsin, will reopen July 17 with premium groceries, elevated prepared foods, wellness-minded products, a café, gathering spaces and an artisanal chocolate boutique.

Located within the Kohler resort, the market features about 80 percent organic grocery offerings, alongside premium pantry provisions, specialty foods, wellness-focused products, artisanal snacks, fresh bakery selections, frozen treats, specialty beverages and elevated grab-and-go meals.
“Woodlake Market has been a part of everyday life in Kohler for over 40 years,” said Stephen Beaumont, president of Kohler Hospitality.
“We’re proud to honor the market’s history while creating something that serves the community today. This next chapter creates a welcoming place for people to shop local and discover something new.”
A new Kohler Chocolates boutique offers handmade confections produced in Kohler, including Chocolate Chips and 4‑piece Terrapins crafted with premium ingredients.
Woodlake Market will showcase Wisconsin’s cheesemaking heritage through a curated selection of artisan cheeses from Carr Valley Cheese Co., Henning’s Wisconsin Cheese, Hook’s Cheese Co., LaClare Farms, Deer Creek Cheese, and more, with educational tasting experiences led by knowledgeable cheese specialists. Local partners include Kohler Honey, Kohler Beer, Foundry Cat Coffee, Broadway Popcorn Co., Drewry Farms maple syrup, J. Henry Bourbon, and other regional producers.
To celebrate the opening, Kohler will host a two‑day grand opening celebration July 17‑18, featuring free tastings, live music, giveaways and family‑friendly activities. Other new businesses, Big Joe’s Fuel & Go and Roots to Roses, also will open.
The LEED‑certified project was developed through a collaborative process led by Kohler’s in‑house design team in partnership with interior design firm AvroKO. Historic architectural elements, including original structural columns, were retained.
“Every decision was guided by a simple idea: create a place people genuinely want to spend time in,” said Nina Kohler, strategy and design leader. “Whether you’re stopping in for coffee, shopping for dinner, discovering a new local product or meeting friends, Woodlake Market is designed to elevate everyday moments.”
