Natural Grocers Wisconsin

Natural Grocers will open its first Wisconsin store on June 10 at 600 N. Edwards Blvd. in Lake Geneva. The location will serve the Lake Geneva community and surrounding areas of southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

The grand opening celebration will begin at 8:15 a.m. with a $2,500 donation to the Lake Geneva Food Pantry, followed by a ribbon‑cutting ceremony with Visit Lake Geneva and the store manager.

“We’re excited to bring Natural Grocers to Wisconsin for the first time and to become part of the Lake Geneva community,” said Raquel Isely, VP of marketing at Natural Grocers.

“Lake Geneva is such a vibrant destination, and we look forward to serving both residents and visitors with the high‑quality products and free nutrition education we’re known for.”

Grand opening events

The first 150 customers on June 10 will receive mystery gift cards valued from $5 to $500. The first 500 shoppers will receive a free hand‑crafted Ecuadorian drawstring backpack (a $30 value).

A prize wheel will run from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. A sweepstakes from June 10 to June 24 offers prizes including an Aventone‑bike (valued at $1,400) and a $500 Natural Grocers gift card.

From June 10 to June 30, shoppers can find up to 50 percent off “Always Affordable” prices on select products, including:

  • Organic red or green seedless grapes ($1.99 per pound);
  • Natural Grocers brand organic cheese shreds and slices ($2.99 each);
  • Bacon and bacon alternatives ($2.99 per package);
  • GT’s Synergy Kombucha ($2.79 per 16-ounce); and
  • Painterland Sisters organic skyr yogurt ($1.99 each).

{N}power members receive exclusive pricing June 10-30 on items, such as:

  • Contented Hen select free‑range eggs ($1.99 per dozen);
  • Mary’s non‑GMO whole chicken ($9.99 each);
  • Natural Grocers brand organic restaurant‑style tortilla chips ($3.99 per 12-ounce);
  • Organic avocados (99 cents each); and
  • Truly Grass‑Fed natural creamy butter bars ($4.99 per 8-ounce).

Store features

Natural Grocers’ Lake Geneva location includes sustainable building features such as non‑toxic materials and 100 percent LED lighting. The store offers:

  • Always 100 percent organic produce, free from cross‑contamination with conventional items;
  • Humanely sourced and sustainably raised meats;
  • A supplement department with more than 5,000 products, over 80 percent from third‑party GMP‑certified facilities; and
  • Free nutrition education and an onsite nutritional health coach (coming soon).

Through the Bring Your Own Bag program, Natural Grocers donates five cents to the Lake Geneva Food Pantry for every customer trip using reusable bags. The pantry serves close to 2,000 children, adults, and seniors monthly; food insecurity affects more than 20 percent of area residents.
