Kroger’s Texas division celebrated the grand reopening of its remodeled Fort Worth Marketplace store at 4750 W. Bailey Boswell Road on July 10, following an investment of nearly $2.5 million.

After months of renovations, the Kroger Marketplace store includes updated decor and layout, improvements and expanded selections in the bakery, deli, produce, floral and meat/seafood departments and new local, natural and healthy grocery options throughout the store.
The festivities began with a welcome from John Votava, Kroger’s Texas division director of corporate affairs, followed by remarks from Kroger Texas President Rudy DiPietro and store leader Matt Hurley. Donations were presented to North Inter-City Agency and Presbyterian Night Shelter as part of Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste social and environmental impact plan.
As the program concluded, Hurley was joined by leadership and associates for the official ribbon cutting.
Shoppers enjoyed product samples, and the first 200 shoppers received a free breakfast bundle. The event also kicked off a weekly ad featuring limited-time discounts for the store July 10-15, including 20 cents off per gallon at the store’s fuel center with a Kroger Rewards Card.
