DoorDash added five grocery partners and expanded SNAP/EBT payment capabilities to seven additional merchants on Feb. 2, broadening access to on-demand grocery delivery across multiple categories, regions and payment options.
The new partners include Berkeley Bowl, Cermak Fresh Market, Harmons Grocery, JONS Fresh Marketplace and Pete’s Market.
Consumers who have uploaded their SNAP cards to DoorDash can use their benefits at CVS Pharmacy, Dierbergs Markets, Lowes Foods, New Seasons Market, Rouses Markets, Wegmans Food Markets and Weis Markets.
With these additions, more than 50,000 stores across the nation now accept SNAP/EBT payments on DoorDash, offering more affordable grocery delivery options for SNAP-eligible consumers.
Since launching SNAP/EBT payments in 2023, DoorDash has expanded access rapidly. Nearly 3 million consumers have enabled SNAP/EBT payments in the app, and 94 percent of U.S. households receiving SNAP benefits now have access to at least one participating store on the platform, based on 2023 American Community Survey census tract level data.

In addition, DoorDash released a new report, “From Food Deserts to Dinner Tables: How SNAP Delivery Removes Barriers and Supports Healthier Habits,” which combines company data with findings from a survey of more than 1,500 consumers who recently used SNAP/EBT on its platform.
Those surveyed reported changes to their eating and household habits since using SNAP/EBT on DoorDash. Thirty-one percent said they were eating more fruits and vegetables, while 24 percent consumed less junk food. Forty-two percent reported cooking at home more often.
Seventy-four percent said they were feeling less stressed about planning SNAP use compared to shopping in-store, and 71 percent reported that using SNAP/EBT for grocery delivery helps ensure they have groceries that last the entire month.
