The town of Brookline, Massachusetts, one of the first Bay State communities to ban plastic, will consider two other expanded bans at a special town meeting on Nov. 15. According to the Massachusetts Food Association, one article would expand the different types of plastic that would be banned for use of on-premise packaging; the other article would expand the town’s plastic bag ban to include all plastic bags, including those for produce, and include all stores regardless of size.
