Smith’s will open a new Marketplace store Aug. 31 on Daybreak Parkway in South Jordan, Utah. In addition to its grocery offerings, the store will feature an apparel department, general merchandise, Starbucks, Fred Meyer Jewelers, drive-thru pharmacy, fuel center, an Asian hot and cold bar, made-to-order pizza and sandwiches, Murray’s Cheese Shop, online shopping service ClickList and more.
The 124,000-s.f. store anchors the new Trail Crossing Shopping Center.
Earlier this year, DaybreakUtah.com reported that “this new development will begin Daybreak’s commercial and residential focus on the areas along Mountain View Corridor. And will complement the growth occurring in the Southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley.”
Smith’s, a banner of The Kroger Co., is based in Salt Lake City.
