The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) has named Rebecca Meredith as its new director of marketing and communications.

In this role, she will oversee the organization’s content creation and execution, as well as drive AFFI’s event and member communications strategies.

Most recently, Meredith served as communications manager at CropLife America, the national trade association representing agricultural pesticide manufacturers. In this role, she led a variety of communications strategies, including member communications and newsletters, industry messaging and education, and event marketing and management, to advance the association’s goals and industry perception.

“I’m thrilled to join the AFFI team in this dynamic time for the food sector,” Meredith said. “I look forward to helping AFFI amplify its voice and member value, drive progress in the association’s new strategic plan and create tangible impact that benefits the industry.”

Rebecca will report to AFFI’s VP of Communications Mary Emma Young and joined AFFI on Aug. 4.

“We are delighted to welcome Rebecca to the AFFI team,” Young said.

“Her years of experience in strategic communications and passion for storytelling will be instrumental as we double-down on providing lasting value for frozen food makers and propel a new narrative about the industry among thought leaders and consumer influencers.”
