Madison, Wisconsin-based Certco Inc. recently tapped Whitney Atkins to direct its retail advertising and marketing team.
This is the latest strategic move as Certco Inc. continues expanding its work to grow sales for supplier brands and to increase retailer customer engagement. In June, Justyne Uribe was promoted to EVP of marketing and merchandising.
“Whitney brings an extensive background in grocery retail marketing, consumer loyalty and branding/communications to the team. We are excited to have her come on board,” Uribe said.
Atkins noted that it is a privilege to join Certco Inc. during its 95th year celebration and to be part of spurring future growth. She added that being a brand and independent retailer ambassador is a passion. She is proud to be part of an organization recognized as a Madison, Wisconsin, Top Workplaces recipient in 2024 and 2025.
Atkins previously served as the International Dairy, Deli and Bakery Association’s (IDDBA) VP of marketing and membership department. Prior to that, she held roles of increasing responsibility with IDDBA, such as global marketing VP and director.
