Salt Lake City, Utah-based Bunny James is transforming the retail industry with the launch of its Retail Rewards Box, designed to deliver a personal and engaging shopping experience for retailers’ most valuable customers.
The Retail Rewards Box offers a way for customers to try new products while providing valuable feedback and data to retailers & brands. With 89 percent of customers confirming they will be purchasing items from the box, the Retail Rewards Box is proving to be a game-changer in the world of grocery retail.
“We believe in the power of gifting psychology, and the Retail Rewards Box is the ultimate demonstration of this,” said Lonny James, CEO. “Our program creates amazing customer loyalty, increases cart size for top shoppers, and provides retailers and brands with invaluable customer data.”
Bunny James provides a turnkey service, customizing the program for each retailer. Currently focused on West Coast retailers, the company has partnerships with Gelson’s, Mollie Stones and Harmons and plans to expand east, adding four to six key retailers in the next 12 months.
“Every quarter, our highest tier, most loyal customers will automatically receive a box at checkout containing a curated assortment of 10 to 15 sample-size items. The response from our customers has been extremely positive,” said Rich Gillmore, VP of center store for Gelson’s.
“We are excited to do this for our loyal customers and introduce them to something new while providing our vendors the opportunities to get their products to a very targeted audience of our best customers.”
Initially known for their healthy vending machines, Bunny James has pivoted to become a producer of snack boxes and gifts tailored to those with specialty diets and allergies. With beginnings in their founder’s apartment, Bunny James has grown and now ships more than 300,000 boxes annually. Its turnkey gift box solutions, with a focus on food and beverage, have changed the way retailers engage with loyal customers.
