Minneapolis-based General Mills is launching four additional products with limited-edition Kaws-inspired packaging.
Count Chocula mini treats feature chocolate, cereal and marshmallows together in four new pouch designs. Franken Berry and Boo Berry Yoplait yogurt will bring the flavors of strawberry and blueberry in new packaging featuring the two characters.
The company is also releasing Monsters Mash Halloween Fruit Snacks, flavored to taste similarly to the Monsters cereals. Made with real fruit juice, the fruit-flavored snacks are made with apple juice concentrate that serve as a healthy snacking alternative for kids.
Pillsbury is also releasing flavored Monster Cookie shapes. Each pack of the refrigerated cookie dough includes two flavors, chocolate and berry, featuring Count Chocula and Franken Berry Monster shapes.
These products are in addition to the earlier release of Monster Cereals. The company has partnered with American artist Kaws. He designed new packaging and corresponding collectible cereal prizes of each character, which are available as a set of four through a sweepstakes.
“Our Monster Cereals are some of our most iconic, and while we know fans are always excited to see them, we want to be sure that we’re able to offer something new and different with each release,” said Mindy Murray, senior marketing communications manager at General Mills.
