From 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, Jungle Jim’s International Market will hold a grand opening for its newest venue, The Oscar Station. Located behind Jungle Jim’s at 8871 N. Gilmore Road in Fairfield, Ohio, the new destination houses a bourbon bar, a designated smoking lounge and is connected to The Oscar Event Center via the Jungle Jim’s monorail. During the grand opening, guests can enjoy live music, partake in raffles and giveaways and purchase drinks from the bourbon bar.
The grand opening will highlight one of The Oscar Station’s main attractions: its one-of-a-kind bourbon bar. Designed by hand and built with reclaimed wood, the beautiful bar houses a bourbon selection with options from Elmer T. Lee to Pappy Van Winkle. The full bourbon list is available on The Oscar Station’s website with a cocktail menu available at the bar. Currently, the bourbon bar is open to the public every Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. When The Oscar Station is not open as a bar, it will be available to rent for private events.
The Oscar Station also features the iconic Jungle Jim’s monorail which connects the space to The Oscar Event Center. The monorail was purchased from Kings Island and currently operates during select Junglefests and private events, weather permitting.
