Peckish has hired former AccelFoods partner Frank Zampardi as VP of sales.
Zampardi returns to the Sonoma Brands team, with whom he helped build Krave Jerky through the company’s acquisition by Hershey. Prior to Krave Jerky, Zampardi was part of the leadership teams at Glaceau and Pirate Brands.
“I’m a consumer first and foremost, and I want to work with brands that have a strong appeal for me and demonstrate strong vision for the future,” he said. “As I look at Peckish, the products check so many boxes for me. It’s not just about eggs. It’s a portable, clean source of protein and a refrigerated snack, which is where immense growth is coming from all channels of trade.”
“We are extremely proud to have Frank back in the Sonoma Brands family leading our Peckish sales team as we premiumize the U.S. egg category. We have strong conviction that this fresh and protein-rich snack will be the new go-to choice for health and fitness consumers,” said Jon Sebastiani, founder of Sonoma Brands in Sonoma, California.
Peckish Peck Packs launched in January 2019. Each pack contains two individually-wrapped boiled organic, free-range eggs and a crunchy dip. They are available in five flavors including salt and pepitas, everything, maple waffles, fried rice and rancheros.
