In a deal completed in early April, Winn-Dixie Properties LLC sold its warehouse property at 15500 W. Beaver St. to an entity owned by New York-based American Realty Capital.

The limited warranty deed, recorded in April, shows a property transaction of almost $99.8 million, according to an article in the Financial News & Daily Record in Jacksonville.

Brian Wright, senior director of communications for Winn-Dixie, told the paper that the deal is a sale-leaseback.

“There’s no change in our operation,” he said, noting that the funds will be used for other corporate expenses.

The two property parcels involved include a 200-acre site with seven buildings and a 44.9-acre parcel of vacant land, the paper said.

Winn-Dixie has been part of Bi-Lo Holding LLC since March 2012. The companies’ combined headquarters moved to Winn-Dixie’s base at 5050 Edgewood Court in Jacksonville, but BI-LO does retain a presence in its former headquarters in Mauldin, S.C.
