The Martin’s Super Markets location on Bashor Road in Goshen, Ind., has completed its first major remodel in two decades, updating one of the community’s longtime grocery anchors with a refreshed layout, new décor and expanded fresh offerings.

The remodel introduces a new décor package, a refreshed store layout and a redesigned meat department with expanded in-store cuts. Fresh department updates include hand-cut fresh fruit and vegetable offerings. A nostalgic candy and soda section featuring classic favorites is also coming soon.

The reopening was celebrated with a kid-led ribbon cutting, Easter bunny photo opportunities and a $2,500 check presentation to Goshen Community Schools.

“This store has been part of the neighborhood for decades, and this refresh reflects our commitment to keeping it that way,” said Dustin Greenlee, store director. “We’re excited to offer a refreshed Martin’s shopping experience that matches the quality and service our shoppers already trust.”

Martin’s Super Markets was founded in 1947 by Jane and Martin Tarnow as an 800-square-foot store in South Bend, Indiana, and has grown to 21 stores in Indiana and Michigan.

Martin’s Super Markets is a member of the C&S family of companies. C&S Wholesale Grocers operates more than 200 corporate-run grocery stores under banners including D&W Fresh Market, Grand Union, Family Fare, Martin’s Super Markets and Piggly Wiggly.
