Wakefern Food Corp. supermarket banners ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market are holding a series of walk-in hiring fairs Jan. 31.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., participating stores across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts and Rhode Island will host in-store recruitment events for full-time, part-time and management positions.
No advance registration is required, and candidates can stop by to speak with hiring teams and learn more about available roles.

Many positions include on-the-job training, flexible scheduling and access to a game-based learning platform designed to help associates build skills and advance their careers.
In addition to professional development opportunities, team members may be eligible for tuition and entertainment discounts, scholarship programs and the chance to contribute to community initiatives, including hunger relief and sustainability efforts.
Job seekers can find participating stores by visiting the careers pages for ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market.
The snow date for the job fairs is Feb. 7 during the same hours.
From a small, local cooperative that began in 1946 with eight grocery store owners, Wakefern Food Corp. has grown into the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States.
The Keasbey, New Jersey-based organization comprises member families who independently own and operate hundreds of supermarkets across a nine-state area. Other banners include Dearborn Market, Di Bruno Bros. and Morton Williams.
