80 Acre Farms microgreens

80 Acres Farms, a vertical farming supplier of pesticide-free produce grown in controlled-environment farms, is expanding distribution of its microgreens to more grocery retailers across the U.S..

Shoppers can find 80 Acres Farms branded microgreens at retail banners including Albertson’s, Dorothy Lane Markets, The Fresh Market, H-E-B, King Soopers, Mariano’s, Meijer, Metro Market, Pick ’n Save, Safeway and Walmart, with additional rollouts to Fred Meyer, QFC and other chains expected soon.

In the foodservice channel, the microgreens line is available through distributor US Foods, reflecting growing demand among restaurant and professional kitchens.

“Microgreens deliver some of the most concentrated flavor and nutrition you’ll find in fresh produce, which is why they’ve been an important part of our business for years,” said Mike Zelkind, co-founder and CEO of 80 Acres Farms. “This expansion demonstrates our retail partners’ confidence in our ability to deliver that quality and consistency at scale.”

80 Acres Farms’ microgreens are part of a broader produce portfolio that also includes leafy greens, culinary herbs, salad kits and dressings grown in a network of large-scale indoor vertical farms powered by proprietary GroLoop technology.

The company’s recent merger with Soli Organic, completed in 2025, has further enhanced its production capacity and geographic reach.

For 2026, the microgreen lineup includes seven retail SKUs such as arugula, broccoli, super punch and pea shoots, tailored to meet retailer and consumer preferences for nutrient-dense produce grown with sustainable practices.
