T&T Supermarket will open a 52,000-square-foot location in Millbrae in winter 2026, marking its third Bay Area store.
The location will serve communities across the Peninsula including Millbrae, San Bruno, San Mateo and Palo Alto. T&T will create 350 jobs for the local market and is actively hiring for office and in-store positions across California.

“Finding large retail format real estate in the Bay Area takes time,” said Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarket.
“I have had my eye on Millbrae for a while – it’s a great spot to serve families living in the peninsula and well spaced between our San Francisco and San Jose locations. We hope our store becomes a place where neighbors come together to shop, eat, take comfort in familiar flavors and discover new tastes.”
The Millbrae store will feature T&T’s restaurant-quality prepared foods model, anchored by a self-serve hot food bar with authentic Asian dishes. The kitchen will offer Peking Duck, Crispy Papa Chicken, a barbecue station and a sushi counter. Made-to-order street food stations will serve Chinese crepes and Taiwanese-style rice rolls.
T&T’s bakery department will stock more than 150 varieties of fresh bread and 50-plus desserts and pastries, including viral items like Napoleon Portuguese Egg Tarts, Mango Pomelo Swiss Rolls and Lava Mochi Puffs. The beverage section will feature an extensive wine and spirits selection with emphasis on Korean soju and Japanese sake.
The retailer will also showcase more than 200 private label products, including pork soup dumplings, Korean kalbi marinade, green onion pancakes and seaweed snacks.
The Millbrae opening caps a significant U.S. expansion year for T&T Supermarkets. The chain has already opened two Washington state stores in Bellevue and Lynnwood. California locations underway for 2026 include San Jose, San Francisco, Irvine and Chino Hills, in addition to Millbrae.
California residents can shop T&T products online through the company’s mobile app, which offers dried goods, snacks and Asian beauty products while physical stores remain under construction.
