Randy’s Neighborhood Market, powered by AppCard, has announced a new partnership with AAA – The Auto Club Group (ACG).

As part of the arrangement, AAA members shopping at participating Randy’s Neighborhood Market locations in Iowa will receive a special offer of $5 off a $50 purchase. In addition, new AAA members who join using Randy’s referral code can receive the same $5 savings on qualifying purchases.

The collaboration connects independent grocers like Randy’s with ACG’s broad member base, helping them compete with national chains. Research shows 65 percent of ACG households spend more than $100 weekly on groceries, while nearly half (48 percent) use grocery loyalty cards.

The collaboration is part of AppCard’s mission to equip independents with scalable, data-driven solutions that enhance loyalty and level the playing field against national retailers.

“Randy’s Rewards has been part of Randy’s Neighborhood Market business model for almost two years at our Iowa locations,” said Paul Whaley, district manager. “We look forward to partnering with AAA – The Auto Club Group through our AppCard Loyalty Platform.

“This will give our loyal customers one more way to save on goods and services from both Randy’s Market and AAA – The Auto Club Group.”
