Publix Super Markets opened a new 53,287 square-foot store Feb. 27 at Briar Bay Shopping Center, 13005 SW 89th Place in Miami.
The supermarket offers departments for grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce, as well as a full-service bakery, deli, pharmacy and an adjacent Publix Liquors. There is also a seating area for customers.
“We look forward to welcoming our customers to their new Miami Publix, introducing them to an array of new offerings and providing them with the service and quality products they know and love,” said Lindsey Willis, Publix media relations manager.
The Publix Deli features a full-service deli counter, as well as handcrafted old-world delicacies, cured sausages, soppressata and aged prosciutto. It also offers an international selection of olives, antipastos, hummus and more than 200 artisan cheeses from around the world.
The produce department carries organic and conventionally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with locally grown produce and exotic choices. The floral department stocks bouquets to match the changing seasons. 
The Publix Bakery boasts an array of cakes, cookies and pies, as well as wedding cakes and desserts. Breads and rolls are baked fresh throughout the day. Also available are cheesecake, cupcakes and jumbo muffins.
The meat department features custom cuts of meats, including Publix private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken. Shoppers seeking a home-cooked meal with minimal prep time can choose from fresh, ready-to-cook items.
The full-service seafood department carries wild and farm-raised fish, as well as a variety of shellfish. Sushi chefs create hand-rolled selections daily.
The wine department offers an expanded variety of premium and specialty wines spanning the globe, along with champagnes and sparkling wines. The selection also includes fine wines made with organic grapes.
The full-service pharmacy also includes a large variety of body care products and a selection of natural and conventional vitamins, minerals and supplements.
Publix provides contactless pay options and other services such as grocery delivery by Instacart and pharmacy delivery.
