Decas Cranberry Products, a cranberry producer and distributor based in Carver, Massachusetts, is rebranding as Decas Farms. Company officials say the move is an effort to better convey the company’s 84-year-old, family-run history and its commitment to working with “the best cranberry growers and products on the market.”
As part of the rebrand, Decas Farms has redesigned its packaging and website to “better showcase its ongoing dedication to family tradition, quality and innovation.”
“At Decas Farms we are proud of our humble beginnings,” said Michael McManama, president and CEO. “And in an effort to share our company’s unique history and heritage of growing and producing delicious cranberry products, we decided to bring the Decas family name to the forefront in our new branding initiative.”
Simultaneously, Decas Farms is expanding its baking cranberries line to include a cranberry apple-flavored product, which will be available at retail in September.
“It is our goal to continue to provide new and exciting cranberry options that our customers love to snack on and also bake with,” said McManama. “Our baking cranberries have been a real success with home chefs, so we’re especially proud to add more flavors to the mix.”
Decas Farms is a third-generation family business founded in 1934. It sources its cranberries from its own 400 acres of bogs and independent partner growers in the U.S. and Canada. Its products are made with natural and non-GMO ingredients and do not contain any artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Decas Farms also sells fresh cranberries when in season and has a line of snacking cranberries that includes Organic Dried Cranberries, 50 percent Less Sugar Dried Cranberries and Original Dried Cranberries.
Decas Farms products are available at several retailers including Stop & Shop, Market Basket, Hannaford, Shaw’s, Roche Bros., Big Y, Food Lion and Amazon.com.
