Golden Flake Snack Foods has introduced limited edition potato chip offerings to celebrate the 125th anniversary of football for the University of Alabama and Auburn University.

Football fans across the state of Alabama and the nation have been choosing sides in what is known to be the “biggest rivalry” in college football, Alabama vs. Auburn. This intra-state competition has been going on for over a century. This year, supporters and fans of the Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers will have the opportunity to take part in this celebration with their team colors and Golden Flake’s commemorative 125th Anniversary of Football Potato Chip offerings.

Clad in crimson, the 8-oz. Golden Flake Thin & Crispy Potato Chip package celebrates the 125th anniversary of University of Alabama football. Meanwhile, the 8-oz. Golden Flake Dip Style Potato Chip package bears a blue and orange “uniform” and in honor of Auburn University, also celebrating its 125th anniversary of football.
