Kettle Brand is expanding its line of kettle-cooked potato chips to include two new creations: Maple Bacon and Sweet & Salty.

“Over the past 30 years, we’ve closely tracked trends from around the world, tested thousands of product prototypes and even conducted a national survey on Americans’ taste preferences,” says Carolyn Ottenheimer, Kettle Brand’s chief flavor architect for the last 13 years. “As with our first-of-its kind Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper in 1999 or Cheddar Beer, one of our first People’s Choice chip selections in 2005, these two distinct new flavors embody the preferences of today’s consumer and have the potential to become timeless classics.”

Both new flavors have been in development for more than nine months, and the final seasoning combinations were selected from hundreds of prototypes.

Both new flavors have been verified by the Non-GMO Project, and like all Kettle Brand products, are cooked in pure, all-natural oils.

Kettle Brand Maple Bacon builds on one of the most talked about recent food trends: bacon. It combines the smokiness of bacon, the sweetness of real maple syrup and the spice of chili pepper.

Kettle Brand Sweet & Salty strikes a balance by pairing natural sea salt and cane sugar with crunchy potatoes.

Kettle Brand Maple Bacon and Sweet & Salty chips will be available in grocery and natural food stores beginning this summer in 5-oz. bags for the SRP of $2.69 and 8.5-oz. bags for the SRP of $3.49 as well as online at BuyKettleChips.com.
