NACS

NACS, the national association for convenience and fuel retailers, has brought on four new team members in recent weeks across fundraising, accounting, digital marketing and editorial roles.

Ali Dunne joined the NACS Foundation on April 8 as director of fundraising and partnerships. She previously served as senior manager of strategic alliances at First Book. Dunne holds a master of public administration from American University and a bachelor’s in political science from Villanova University.

Elyse Menendez joined NACS on March 23 as accounting manager. She brings more than a decade of accounting experience, primarily within associations, most recently with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Menendez earned a bachelor of science in economics and English from the University of Mary Washington.

Louis Medel also joined on March 23 as digital marketing manager. He previously worked at the Society for Human Resource Management as a marketing growth specialist. Medel earned a bachelor of science in integrated marketing communications from Ithaca College.

Michelle Cassidy joined NACS on March 16 as managing editor within the media team. Her editorial background includes roles as deputy editor at Atlas Obscura and associate editor of books at National Geographic. Cassidy earned a bachelor of science in environmental biology from Georgetown University.
