Publix Super Markets opened its newest location April 2 at Seven Hills, 160 Mariner Blvd. in Spring Hill, Florida.
The 48,387-square-foot store features full-service bakery, deli, seafood and pharmacy departments along with an upstairs seating area – a notable amenity designed to encourage customers to dine on-site.
“We’re excited to welcome customers to their new Spring Hill Publix and be part of all the moments they celebrate – from everyday meals to birthdays, holidays and major milestones,” said Lindsey Willis, Publix media relations manager. “This location reflects what our customers value most – quality, convenience and thoughtful details, including an upstairs seating area where they can relax and enjoy their Publix favorites.”

The deli counter includes handcrafted old-world delicacies, an international olive and antipasto selection, hummus and more than 200 artisan cheeses. The scratch bakery produces breads and rolls baked fresh throughout the day alongside cakes, cookies, pies and wedding cakes. The meat department features custom cuts including Publix’s private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken, along with ready-to-cook items prepared fresh daily.
The seafood department carries wild and farm-raised fish delivered throughout the week, with whole fish and fillets sold fresh, never frozen. Sushi chefs hand-roll selections daily. The produce department stocks organic and conventional fruits and vegetables, including locally grown and imported options. An expanded wine department carries premium and specialty wines from U.S. and international producers, champagnes, sparkling wines and organic-grape selections.
The pharmacy offers a full-service counter alongside a wide selection of natural and conventional vitamins, minerals and supplements.
Publix is providing contactless pay options, grocery delivery powered by Instacart and pharmacy delivery at the new location. An adjacent Publix Liquors is planned to open at a later date.
To mark opening day, the retailer sent its large motorized Publix shopping cart through the community to drive awareness of the new store.
The Spring Hill opening brings Publix’s total store count to 1,432 across eight states: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky. The Lakeland, Florida-based retailer is the largest employee-owned company in the U.S. with more than 260,000 associates.
