The Family Fare supermarket in Paw Paw, Michigan has completed a full-store remodel, expanding its fresh food offerings and refreshing key departments at one of the community’s longest-standing neighborhood grocery locations.
The renovation focused on high-priority areas for shoppers, including expanded produce, an upgraded hot bar, expanded beer, wine and liquor selections and a nostalgic candy and soda section. The deli now offers fresh-made daily sandwiches, wraps, salads and ready-to-eat meals, with fresh sushi coming soon.
The store celebrated with a grand reopening event featuring a kid-friendly ribbon cutting and a $2,500 donation to Paw Paw Public Schools.
Store Director Brandon Volz said the remodel is a direct response to the community’s loyalty to the store over the years.
“This store has grown because of the relationships built here every day. This remodel celebrates the loyal shoppers who have made Family Fare a true part of the neighborhood. We are excited to match that loyalty with an experience that feels fresh, welcoming and built around what our shoppers value most,” Volz said.
Family Fare is part of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, which operates more than 200 corporate-run grocery stores across banners including D&W Fresh Market, Grand Union, Martin’s Super Markets and Piggly Wiggly. C&S, established in 1918 and headquartered in the U.S., operates 60 distribution centers nationwide.
