Save A Lot is running a Bacon for a Year sweepstakes through March 31, offering one winner a $500 gift card – the equivalent of a year’s supply of the chain’s exclusive Farmington bacon brand. A winner will be randomly selected on April 1.

Customers can enter through the Save A Lot app or by mail-in entry. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Katie Kobus, VP of marketing at Save A Lot, framed the promotion around the approaching grilling season.

“Nothing says summer is on the way quite like the sound of bacon sizzling. Our Bacon for a Year sweepstakes gives shoppers the chance to bring home a full year of flavor,” Kobus said.

“Whether it’s for breakfast, BLTs or your favorite cookout recipes, one lucky winner will enjoy the tastiest 2026 yet – and everyone else can count on Save A Lot for everyday deals that keep meals delicious.”

Official rules and entry details are available at savealot.com/terms/bacon. The sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents 18 and older, excluding Rhode Island residents.

Founded in 1977 and headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Save A Lot is the largest independently-owned and -operated discount grocery chain in the U.S., operating about 700 stores across 29 states.
