Needler’s Fresh Market celebrated the grand opening of a new location March 20 in Anderson, Indiana, marking a milestone for the community and expanding grocery access on the city’s west side.
Located at 2810 Nichol Ave., the store is the newest Needler’s Fresh Market in Ohio and Indiana.
“Our goal is to be more than just a grocery store – we want to be a trusted neighborhood partner,” said Kenny Smith, store director. “This grand opening represents an important step in serving Anderson residents with fresh food, everyday essentials and a welcoming place to shop close to home.”
The new Needler’s Fresh Market location offers:
- A wide selection of fresh produce, quality meats and grocery essentials;
- In-store butchers serving fresh-cut and Chief Smokehouse signature smoked meats;
- Deli fried chicken and fish prepared in-house;
- Bakery items made fresh daily, including Needler’s Special Recipe cookies;
- Our Family products;
- Additional savings through the Needler’s loyalty program; and
- Delivery through DoorDash, with additional online shopping services coming soon.
The store is part of a broader redevelopment effort in Anderson, transforming a long vacant retail space into a neighborhood destination. It also supports local economic growth through job creation and renewed activity along the Nichol Avenue corridor.
To mark the occasion, Needler’s presented a check for $2,500 to The Gathering of the Queens, a community-focused organization committed to addressing food insecurity.
