The Winn-Dixie Co. announced that seven Harveys Supermarket locations across Florida and southern Georgia will convert to the Winn-Dixie banner, the latest step in the company’s consolidation under a single brand following its rebranding from Southeastern Grocers in January.
The locations scheduled for conversion span Jacksonville, Lake City, Ocala and Lakeland in Florida, and Folkston, Georgia.
Consolidating around one name
Anthony Hucker, chairman and CEO of The Winn-Dixie Co., said the conversions reflect a long-term commitment to brand clarity and continued investment in the stores and their communities.
“For more than a century, Winn-Dixie and Harveys have earned the trust of families and communities across our region. Bringing our stores together under one iconic name, Winn-Dixie, allows us to build on that shared legacy while continuing to invest in our stores, our associates and the quality, value and fresh offerings our customers count on,” Hucker said.
Converting stores will carry Winn-Dixie’s updated store design and offer the grocer’s Own Brand products, prepared foods and its signature Lip Lickin’ Chicken deli program.
Existing Harveys Rewards customers can transfer to the Winn-Dixie Rewards app without creating a new account — points will transfer automatically when customers enter their phone number in the Winn-Dixie app.
