Redner's Markets

Redner’s Markets launched a new mobile app March 5, and the employee-owned regional chain is celebrating with a five-store tour across Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware that begins March 10.

The app gives customers access to exclusive deals, gas and grocery rewards points, grocery delivery and pickup and catering orders – consolidating Redner’s loyalty and shopping tools into a single platform.

Gas rewards are a centerpiece feature. App users earn 5 cents off per gallon for every $50 spent at Redner’s stores, redeemable at thousands of partner fuel stations, including Speedway and Sunoco.

Launch week incentives are already live. Anyone who downloads the app receives a coupon for a free 24-pack of Redner’s spring water, with new deals unlocking each week exclusively through the app.

The app works across all Redner’s formats – Warehouse, Fresh Market and Quick Stop locations – and is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

President and CEO Ryan Redner said the app reflects a strategic shift toward innovation while staying true to the company’s 56-year roots.

“This new app marks our increased focus on innovation as we continue that legacy,” he said. We’re giving busy shoppers the ability to shop in the ways that work best for their families, while offering our loyal customers access to exclusive rewards and savings. I can’t wait to show people everything this new app can do.”

‘Appiness Tour’

The five-stop tour launches at 10 a.m. March 10 at the Fresh Market location in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.

Each event will feature customer spotlights, giveaways, free passed “apps” – the company’s play on appetizers – and on-site download support for customers who need help getting started.

Remaining tour stops, all of which start at 10 a.m., are:

  • Audubon, Pennsylvania – March 19.
  • Allentown, Pennsylvania (Lehigh Street) – March 25.
  • Bel Air, Maryland – March 31.
  • Lewes, Delaware – April 8.

COO Gary M. Redner said the in-store events are designed to be celebratory and practical.

“We’re so excited for this new app, and we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate,” he said. “These tour events will be fun celebrations showcasing everything this app can do. And for folks who need a little guidance downloading and using it, we’ll have teams on hand to help.’

Redner’s Markets operates 44 grocery stores and 24 Quick Shops across eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
