Utz Brands showcased new products from its Boulder Canyon and Utz brands during the 2026 Natural Products Expo West, held March 4-6 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Boulder Canyon featured its full lineup at the show, including classic kettle style chips, tortilla chips and the new Boulder Batch Agave Sriracha kettle style potato chips, all made with avocado oil.
The new flavor combines the sweetness of agave and the heat of sriracha, tapping into consumer interest in snacks cooked in non-seed oils and globally inspired flavors.
The chips, which carry gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified and Kosher certifications, are set to launch in April at natural and grocery retailers nationwide.
The show also marked the debut of Utz Protein Pretzels and Protein Cheese Curls, the brand’s first entry into the protein snack category.
“Whether it’s through our classic kettle style chips, specialty Boulder Batch line or our new tortilla chips, we’re committed to providing consumers with snacks made from select ingredients and perfect for enjoying life’s moments,” said Stacey Schultz, SVP of marketing at Utz Quality Foods, a subsidiary of Pennsylvania-based Utz Brands.
“At the show we [also debuted] our new lineup of Utz Protein Pretzels and Cheese Curls, bringing our tradition of Utz crunch and flavor to the protein snack category for the first time.”
Utz Protein Pretzels are available in three flavors with no artificial flavors: Classic Sea Salt, with 10 grams of protein per serving, and Honey Mustard and Cheddar, each with 8 grams of protein per serving.
Utz Protein Cheese Curls come in two varieties – Cheddar and Hot and Spicy Cheddar – each providing 10 grams of protein per serving and also made with no artificial flavors.
Boulder Canyon and Utz products are available online and at retailers nationwide.
