Lakewood, Colorado-based Natural Grocers will mark Texas Independence Day with a three-day celebration March 2-4 at all 24 of its locations in the Lone Star State.
The celebration marks the day in 1836 when Texas declared its independence from Mexico. {N}power members who visit any of the stores during that span will receive a free Texas-themed reusable shopping bag, while supplies last, along with a $5-off coupon for in-store purchases.
Natural Grocers entered the Texas market in 2008, with its first store in the Dallas-Richardson area. It has since opened locations in Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Fredericksburg, Hurst, Keller, Longview, Lubbock, Midland, San Antonio, Temple, Tyler, Waco and Wichita Falls.
Customers who are not yet {N}power members can sign up for free at naturalgrocers.com. The rewards program offers members discounts, deals and offers, as well as points earned with each store visit.
Natural Grocers, which operates 168 stores in 21 states, has about 500 employees in Texas.
The company’s grocery products must meet standards prohibiting artificial flavors, preservatives, sweeteners, synthetic colors and hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.
Natural Grocers sells only USDA-certified organic produce and pasture-raised, non-confinement dairy products and free-range eggs.
In fiscal year 2025, Natural Grocers invested more than $16 million in incremental compensation and payments for employees.
