Keasbey, New Jersey-based Price Rite Marketplace celebrated its associates Feb. 22 on Supermarket Employee Day – a day proclaimed by FMI – The Food Industry Association – to recognize grocery workers for their commitment to feeding families and enriching lives.
Team members from close to 50 Price Rite Marketplace stores were acknowledged for the role they play in providing service to the communities the company serves. To mark the day, employees received complimentary lunches, company T-shirts and letters of thanks from leadership. Leadership and support teams also visited store locations to thank employees in person.

The recognition followed the company’s annual meeting celebration earlier this month, when Daniil (Danny) Kondratyuk, store manager of the Price Rite Marketplace of Cheektowaga, New York, was named Store Manager of the Year.

Kondratyuk received a trophy and gift certificate for driving sales growth, team member engagement, community involvement and training and development support for colleagues.
Five Price Rite district managers also were recognized for their achievements at the annual meeting. Systems Specialist Carlos Feliciano was honored for his three decades with Price Rite – a milestone that coincided with the company’s 30th anniversary in 2025.
“The exceptional service our team delivers each day is the foundation of our company’s strength. We are grateful for their hard work and the positive impact they have on our stores and communities,” said Kevin McDonnell, president of Price Rite Marketplace. “Supermarket Employee Day gives us a special moment to acknowledge those efforts and to thank every member of the team for the difference they make each day.”
