Los Angeles-based The Giumarra Companies has promoted Sebastian Carmona to VP of international development and Kristina Lorusso to VP of retail partner services.

Carmona joined The Giumarra Companies in 2021 and brings experience in global agribusiness and supply chain. He held prior

leadership roles at CarSol Group, based in Santiago, Chile, and Unifrutti Group, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the company’s international growth strategy across farming, sourcing, partnerships and market expansion.
Lorusso joined The Giumarra Companies in 2015 with a background in grocery retail, having held buying and merchandising roles at Roundy’s Supermarkets, which Kroger acquired in 2015. As VP of retail partner services, she will lead the company’s business development strategy for fresh and services.
