Borden Cheese launched a line of refrigerated cheese dips featuring three varieties packaged in 12-ounce microwaveable containers.
The lineup includes Queso Blanco, a mild blend featuring real jalapeño peppers, that is available now. Two additional flavors – Nacho and Jalapeño – will debut in March. The Nacho variety is positioned as the gold standard for chips and pretzels, while the Jalapeño offers extra heat for snack applications.
“Our line of Borden Cheese Dips deliver a new, convenient way for families to enjoy their favorite flavors anytime,” said Jenny Mehlman, senior director of marketing for cheese, taste and flavors at Dairy Farmers of America.
“By using real milk to deliver delicious taste and creamy texture in a ready-to-eat refrigerated dip, snacking and sides just got better with Borden.”
With cheese-based spreads becoming essential household staples, Borden is filling a gap in the refrigerated section with a fresh-tasting cheese dip that doesn’t compromise on quality, according to the company. The dips are designed for multiple applications, including dunking tortilla chips, drizzling over broccoli or topping game-day nachos.
The microwaveable containers make the dips easy to heat and serve for snacking occasions. To support the launch, Borden will feature the products on social media and at grocery stores with special tailgating promotions and snack-time inspiration.
For generations, Borden Cheese has crafted high-quality cheese made with real milk. Owned by American dairy farm families, the brand offers a variety of cheese products found in the refrigerated dairy aisle and pasta aisle in retailers across the country.
Borden Cheese is used under license by Dairy Farmers of America, a farmer-owned global dairy cooperative that supports 9,500 family farmers.
