Big Y will open a 46,000-square-foot store in Saugus, Massachusetts, marking the fourth Eastern Massachusetts location the Springfield-based family grocer has announced in recent months.
The store at 357 Broadway in Saugus Plaza Shopping Center joins previously announced locations as part of Big Y’s expansion into the eastern part of the state.
“We’re proud to announce another Big Y store in Eastern Massachusetts, continuing a wave of growth that includes Pembroke, Fairhaven and North Dartmouth,” said Mathieu L. D’Amour, VP of real estate and development.
“Each new location strengthens our ability to bring a trusted family market to more communities, with fresh, local offerings and exceptional service.”
Big Y will share details on hiring opportunities and grand-opening events in the coming months.
