Kroger added 24 new Simple Truth Protein products to shelves this month, expanding the line to more than 110 items as customers focus on wellness goals in the new year, the Cincinnati-based retailer announced Jan. 29.
The expanded line features protein-packed options designed to support nutrition goals from establishing everyday habits to building strength. All products are free from unwanted ingredients and priced for affordability.
“As customers focus on their wellness goals in the new year, they are looking for high-quality options that fit their lifestyles and budgets,” said Ann Reed, group VP of Our Brands at Kroger.
“With the expansion of our Simple Truth Protein line exclusively at Kroger, we are supporting customers as they work towards their goals with nutritious, affordable and great-tasting protein offerings that are simple and free from unwanted ingredients.”
New product offerings
The expanded line includes products designed for any time of day or occasion, from breakfast to post-workout snacks.
- Simple Truth High Protein Cereal delivers 14 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber and 1 gram of sugar per serving. The cereal is available in Cinnamon or Berry flavors.
- Simple Truth Beef Sticks, made with 100 percent grass-fed and finished beef, provide 9 grams of protein per serving in Original and Jalapeño flavors.
- Simple Truth Protein + Electrolyte Water Enhancers, made with whey protein isolate and coconut water, support hydration and muscle health with 9 grams of protein per serving. The enhancers contain less than 1 gram of sugar, no artificial sweeteners or colors, and are available in Strawberries and Cream or Mango Passionfruit flavors.
- Simple Truth Protein Cottage Cheese Single Serve 5.6-ounce containers feature 2% milkfat small crushed curd cottage cheese delivering 21 grams of protein per serving.
- Simple Truth Protein Energy Bars provide 20 grams of protein with no added sugar in three flavors: Peanut Caramel, Cookie Dough and Chocolate Caramel.
The Simple Truth Protein line is available exclusively at Kroger stores.
