ECRS released CATAPULT Fuel on Jan. 12, a fuel management system that integrates fuel operations into the company’s CATAPULT point-of-sale platform, the Boone, N.C.-based technology provider announced.
The system allows independent retailers to manage fuel operations through CATAPULT Web Office, creating a single unified platform for store and fuel management. The release marks a departure from complex fuel software systems that require separate platforms.
“CATAPULT Fuel has brought a seamless fueling experience to our store,” said Corey Wood, IT manager at Piggly Wiggly Apalachicola.
“With CATAPULT Fuel directly integrated into CATAPULT Web Office, we can easily make changes to our fueling pricing and configuration directly in Web Office, saving us much time and effort.”
System features
CATAPULT retailers migrating from ECRS’s legacy system, Open Fuel Server, will experience a streamlined installation process designed for quick implementation and minimal business disruption. The system includes fuel administration within CATAPULT Web Office’s updated interface. Multi-store replication ensures consistent fuel operations across large retail networks.
Prepaid fuel vouchers provide a solution for retailers with pumps located far from POS terminals, enhancing customer convenience.
Industry positioning
The integrated fuel management system gives independent retailers a competitive advantage as consumer expectations for convenience grow. The system maintains security, automation and simplicity while meeting increased demands.
