Schnuck Markets Inc. will hold its annual St. Louis Food & Wine event Feb. 6-7 at Union Station, with the event benefiting Operation Food Search and the Repertory Theater of St. Louis.
This year’s festivities will feature hundreds of wines, a selection of craft beers and culinary offerings. Attendees can purchase wine as they taste at exclusive, event-only discounted prices. All attendees must be 21 or older.
“We invite food and drink lovers from across the region to spend a winter’s day inside discovering new wines and beers while also enjoying gourmet surprises at this can’t-miss event,” said Miranda Osmack, Schnucks’ senior brand analyst.
Event schedule and ticket options
The Main Event
- General admission – Noon-5 p.m. Feb. 7
- Tickets are $75 per person; designated driver tickets are $30 per person and do not include a wine glass. Attendees can sample hundreds of wines and gourmet food offerings. Ticket purchase includes a commemorative wine glass. Participants can join pairing classes from the Schnucks Cooking School and visit a speakeasy to sample cocktails, view a demonstration with world-renowned mixologist Dean Serneels and enjoy snacks from the Schnucks Cooking School.
- The VIP Experience – Noon-5 p.m. Feb. 7
- Tickets are $150 per person. VIP attendees get access to exclusive wine tastings beyond main event selections, an exclusive performance from The Rep, a private gourmet buffet and a special class on wine blending with Justin Wines and master sommelier Joseph Spellman. The class includes the opportunity to create a custom blend. A commemorative wine glass is included.
- VIP ticket add-on: Spritz Hour – 11:15 a.m.-noon. Feb. 7
- Add-on tickets are $25 per person. This add-on provides early entry to the VIP Experience and a welcome drink. Attendees arrive 45 minutes before the event starts and choose between an Aperol spritz with LaMarca Prosecco or a Guinness draught stout pint customized with their picture.
The Grand Tasting Event
- Feb. 6 from 7-10 p.m.
- Tickets are $250 per person.Attendees sample vintages from domestic and international vintners and dine on gourmet food in the Grand Hall at Union Station in downtown St. Louis. A commemorative wine glass is included.
- Add-on champagne hour – 6:15-7 p.m. Feb. 6
- Add-on tickets are $25 per person. This add-on provides early entry to the Grand Tasting Event and a welcome drink. Attendees arrive 45 minutes before the event starts and receive a glass of Perrier-Jouet.
