ecoATM recycling kiosks

EcoATM will exhibit its electronic device recycling kiosks during The 2026 NGA Show in Las Vegas, demonstrating partnership opportunities for independent grocers.

The San Diego, California-based company operates more than 7,000 kiosks nationwide at grocery and discount stores. The kiosks allow shoppers to recycle their phones and receive cash on the spot in less than seven minutes.

“Independent grocers are balancing tight margins and high customer expectations,” said Neil Fried, SVP of corporate development at ecoATM.

“EcoATM was designed to address these needs by delivering a turnkey, in-store service that drives traffic, creates passive income, and supports sustainability without adding complexity for store owners or staff.”

To date, ecoATM has paid $1.8 billion to consumers for their used devices, with 70 percent of that amount being spent back in host stores.

The kiosks provide a no-cost solution for retail partners that generates rental income, drives incremental store traffic, enhances the in-store experience and provides measurable sustainability impact.

For more than 15 years, ecoATM has been expanding access to affordable technology and recycling e-waste through the kiosks.

EcoATM will be at Booth No. 2152 for The NGA Show, the premier event for the independent grocery industry that brings together grocery retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers and suppliers from across the country.

The show’s education program features leaders, trendsetters and industry veterans discussing topics including emerging technologies, consumer behavior, merchandising strategies and operational excellence.
