Health benefits platform evermore has partnered with United Supermarkets, adding more than 100 stores across West Texas, the Texas Panhandle and Eastern New Mexico to its retail network.
The partnership enables Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial health plan members to use their benefits at United locations starting in 2026.
Evermore cardholders may now shop at United Supermarkets’ more than 100 stores throughout West Texas, the Texas Panhandle, and Eastern New Mexico, giving Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial beneficiaries more choice and convenience when using their health benefits on nutritious groceries and essential everyday items.
The deal extends evermore’s existing footprint in the region as the company scales its health plan partnerships in 2026. Bentonville, Arkansas-based evermore operates a personalized benefits platform that connects health plan members with groceries, over-the-counter medications and other health-related products through its benefit card.
“United Supermarkets has always stood out for its genuine commitment to community,” said Jared Childs, VP of Growth at evermore.
“Their stores are where families shop, gather, and rely on consistent quality. By bringing evermore’s benefits to United’s guests, we’re helping more people access nutritious groceries at trusted locations across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico, important regions for the health plans we support.”
Founded in 1916, United Supermarkets has built a reputation for exceptional guest service, high-quality fresh foods, deep local partnerships, and a warm, community-focused in-store experience. The Lubbock-headquartered chain operates as The United Family, running 99 grocery stores under four banners: United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and Albertsons Market. The company also operates 40 convenience stores and maintains its own distribution operations. United is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Albertsons Companies.
“We are proud to join the evermore retail network,” said Tony Crumpton, CMO at United Supermarkets.
“They are modernizing benefits administration to be more accountable, accessible, and outcomes driven. Their dedication to exceptional member experience matches our company’s values and fits with our drive to support our shoppers’ health care needs. Partnering with them also helps us improve affordability for our community, which is in everyone’s best interests.”
The partnership follows evermore’s recent announcement of a collaboration with Vallarta Supermarkets, marking that Latino-owned chain’s first integration with a health benefit card platform. That deal added more than 60 Vallarta locations across California to evermore’s network.
Evermore’s platform aims to connect health plan dollars to products that support preventative health and chronic condition management. The company partners with payers and retailers to distribute benefits while tracking utilization and health outcomes.
