B&G Foods Inc., a New Jersey-based maker and distributor of branded shelf-stable and frozen foods, has appointed John Ozgopoyan as EVP of sales, a move to support the company’s long-term sales growth across retail and foodservice channels.
Ozgopoyan joins B&G Foods with more than two decades of sales leadership experience in the CPG sector. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s sales organization, leading commercial strategy, customer engagement and execution to advance B&G Foods’ presence with key grocery customers nationwide.

Prior to joining B&G Foods, Ozgopoyan served in senior sales roles at major consumer brands, where he was responsible for multi-channel sales strategy and execution. His background includes experience driving performance in highly competitive retail environments and working closely with national and regional grocery chains.
In his new capacity, Ozgopoyan will report to Fischer and work with the company’s executive leadership team to refine sales planning, strengthen customer relationships and expand market share for B&G Foods’ diverse portfolio.
B&G Foods said Ozgopoyan’s appointment reflects its commitment to enhancing commercial leadership as it continues to serve a broad base of retail partners across the U.S. The company’s portfolio includes branded products in categories such as canned vegetables, beans, soups and specialty foods.
