ShopRite gift card

To celebrate the grand opening of a new ShopRite in Blackwood, New Jersey, Zallie Family Markets and the Zallie Community Foundation are donating $20,000 in ShopRite gift cards to 12 food pantries to help stock shelves and support families facing food insecurity.

The recipients include:

  • Bethel Church
  • The Unforgotten Haven
  • Camden County College
  • St. Vincent de Paul – Our Lady of Hope
  • St. Mary’s Friends of Clementon
  • Commitment Community Church
  • St. Vincent de Paul – Our Lady of Guadalupe
  • Laurel Hill Bible Church
  • Calvary Chapel
  • Highland High School
  • Lindenwold High School
  • Timber Creek High School

The donation presentation took place at 10 a.m. Dec. 16 at the ShopRite of Cherrywood, located at 1460 Blackwood Clementon Road. Representatives from each organization were on hand to accept the cards.

“This is a way of giving back to the community that supports us and helping local pantries meet growing needs,” said Renee Zallie, founder of the Zallie Community Foundation.
