Meijer Wreaths Across America

Meijer is recognizing U.S. veterans this holiday season by supporting Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit dedicated to “remembering the fallen, honoring those who serve and teaching the next generation the value of freedom.”

As part of the retailer’s expanded participation in the annual wreath-laying tradition, Meijer helped cover the cost of 1,000 commemorative wreaths, its largest contribution to date. The company’s Outbound Logistics team delivered wreaths to 14 veterans cemeteries in Michigan and Ohio.

Meijer employees also took part in multiple wreath-laying ceremonies on Dec. 13, including an event at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan, where volunteers and associates placed wreaths.

The retailer’s partnership with Wreaths Across America is designed to inspire customers and community members to join in recognizing veterans and honoring their legacy.

Wreaths Across America operates each December in more than 5,200 locations nationwide and abroad, laying wreaths at cemeteries, memorials and veterans burial grounds in a gesture of remembrance and respect for service.
