Fareway Stores Inc. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 22 for its newest location in Granger, Iowa. The 21,000-square-foot store expands Fareway’s commitment to providing high-quality groceries, a full-service meat counter and customer service to communities across seven Midwest states.
“We’re thrilled to serve Granger and its surrounding communities,” said Reynolds Cramer, CEO of Fareway Stores Inc. “Fareway is built on family values, quality and commitment to customer service. We’re excited to welcome area residents to their new Fareway.”
The new store is led by Grocery Manager Nick Wassenaar and Market Manager Brady Heard. Normal hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The Granger Fareway offers a selection of fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, frozen foods and Fareway’s signature full-service meat department. The location also features convenient parking, easy-to-navigate aisles and team members dedicated to making shopping simple.
