Fareway Stores Inc. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 22 for a new 21,000-square-foot store in Granger, Iowa.

“We’re thrilled to serve Granger and its surrounding communities,” said Reynolds Cramer, CEO of Fareway Stores Inc. “Fareway is built on family values, quality and commitment to customer service. We’re excited to welcome area residents to their new Fareway.”

The store offers fresh produce, pantry staples, dairy, frozen foods and Fareway’s signature full-service meat department. It is led by Nick Wassenaar, grocery manager, and Brady Hear, market manager.

“Granger is growing, and our residents value access to fresh, quality food close to home,” said Tony James, mayor of Granger. “Fareway’s investment in our community reflects the kind of partnership that helps small cities thrive – creating jobs, supporting local initiatives and providing essentials with exceptional service.”
