Publix Pharmacy has introduced a prescription savings finder tool aimed at helping customers identify lower-cost options for medications at its pharmacies throughout the Southeast.

The Discount Finder, powered by RxSense, is available through the Publix Pharmacy app and online at publix.com/rxsavings, providing a centralized digital marketplace where customers can compare savings options for most prescriptions.

Publix’s VP of Pharmacy Dain Rusk said the savings finder offers “a digital marketplace that provides a single location for customers to search for savings across multiple options.”

Publix Pharmacy operates more than 1,300 pharmacies within its stores across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky.

The pharmacy has long expanded beyond basic prescription fills to include a range of services designed to meet diverse health needs. Customers can manage prescriptions and receive refill reminders.

In addition, Publix pharmacies provide vaccinations for flu, shingles, pneumonia, RSV, COVID-19 and other preventable diseases. They also offer a specialty pharmacy service that supports complex medications not typically found in standard retail settings, along with tools like virtual care access and medication synchronization programs.

Publix’s pharmacy workforce – recognized for its customer satisfaction rankings in the supermarket pharmacy sector – plays a central role in community health outreach and patient engagement.
