Winn-Dixie grand opening in Florida

The store Winn-Dixie opened Dec. 6 at 434 E. Noble Ave. in Williston, Florida, is its first in the Sunshine State since announcing a company transformation.

As the grocer celebrates its 100th anniversary, the store represents the next chapter of investment in Florida, delivering a modern, convenient shopping experience to local customers.

In October, Southeastern Grocers announced it will become The Winn-Dixie Co. in early 2026, uniting under one brand and transitioning ownership of most of its locations outside of Florida.
