Major confectionery manufacturers Mars Inc. and The Hershey Co. are stocking shelves with expanded holiday candy lineups this season, introducing new seasonal items alongside returning fan favorites.
The offerings reflect continued consumer demand for limited-time flavors and festive shapes during the holiday period.
Hershey is leading its seasonal push with four new products: Hershey’s Kisses Snickerdoodle Cookie Candy, Kit Kat Peppermint Stick, Reese’s Mini Trees and a Hershey’s Grinch Milk Chocolate Bar featuring Dr. Seuss characters.
“From festive red, green, and silver Hershey’s Kisses to fan favorite Holiday shapes, Hershey celebrates the traditions that make the season sweet,” said Angie Stubbs, senior manager, holiday at The Hershey Co. “Whether you’re enjoying a timeless favorite or discovering a new treat, we’re here to make your celebrations more memorable.”
The Kisses Snickerdoodle Cookie variety features white creme with crunchy cookie pieces in seasonal foils, while the Kit Kat Peppermint Stick combines peppermint-flavored creme with crunchy red candy pieces. The new Reese’s Mini Trees offer a bite-sized version of the brand’s tree-shaped seasonal items.
Returning Hershey products include Hershey’s Kisses in holiday foils and flavors such as Milk Candy Cane and Hot Cocoa, along with Reese’s Trees and Kit Kat Santas.
Mars is introducing M&M’s Winter Blend, featuring milk chocolate candies in white and blue colors, alongside Twix Snowmen and Life Savers Gummies Holiday Shapes.
“Nothing says holiday cheer like sweet treats and classic movies, enjoyed with friends and family,” said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, VP seasonal marketing, Mars Wrigley North America. “Passing around M&M’s Winter Blend during a holiday film or treating yourself to a Twix Snowmen while holiday shopping, makes the season cozier and more delicious.”
The company also is bringing back M&M’S Holiday Blend in red and green, Snickers Trees, M&M’s Toasty Holiday Peanut with cinnamon and vanilla notes, and Skittles Original Candy Holiday Cane.
Both companies are emphasizing gifting and entertaining formats this season. Hershey has released assortment packs including a Reese’s Trees and Kit Kat Santas Snack Size Assortment, a Holiday Mint Assortment and specialty gift boxes such as the Hershey’s Kisses Grinch Gift Box.
Mars holiday offerings are available at nationwide retailers throughout the season. Hershey products also are available at major retailers, with pricing at the discretion of each retailer.
