Swiftly has partnered with EG America to add a digital alcohol cashback feature to the SmartRewards app across the retailer’s convenience store brands. The new feature provides near-instant, supplier-funded cashback on beer, wine and spirits at stores including Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Loaf ‘N Jug, Kwik Shop, Turkey Hill, Quik Stop, Tom Thumb, Minit Mart and Sprint.

The program expands Swiftly’s presence in the convenience channel as more chains adopt the company’s alcohol cashback platform to support loyalty initiatives. EG America is the latest operator to bring the offer to its rewards users as retailers look for digital tools that drive trips and build engagement.

Alcohol rebates have long required customers to rely on mail-in systems that involve keeping receipts and waiting weeks for reimbursement. Swiftly’s platform replaces that process with an in-app experience where customers browse active offers, select deals and scan their rewards card at checkout. Cashback is sent by email with options to redeem through PayPal, Venmo or a digital prepaid Visa card.

“Swiftly was founded to help brick-and-mortar retailers thrive in a digital world,” said Henry Kim, CEO of Swiftly. “As more of the top convenience retailers adopt Alcohol Cashback, our data shows these digital offers increase basket size while delivering value far faster and more seamlessly than traditional rebates. By integrating our Alcohol Cashback technology into the SmartRewards app, we’re helping EG America provide a digital experience that delivers savings, strengthens loyalty, supports supplier partnerships and produces measurable results at the register.”

The alcohol cashback program is supplier-funded, which removes administrative work and margin impact for EG America. Swiftly manages compliance, validates transactions and processes funds. For suppliers, the platform offers performance visibility and return-on-ad-spend metrics that support expanded promotions.

“Our commitment is on delivering value and convenience for every shopper,” said Brian Ferguson, chief marketing officer at EG America. “By integrating Swiftly’s Alcohol Cashback offering as a new feature within the SmartRewards app we’re offering customers a seamless way to save while strengthening loyalty across our family of stores.”

Digital savings tools continue to influence the convenience retail landscape as shoppers look for ways to reduce spending on everyday items. Alcohol cashback has emerged as one option that offers immediate value and provides retailers with a differentiated loyalty feature.

Swiftly’s platform brings supplier-funded offers, compliance automation and digital engagement into one system that supports modernization efforts across the convenience channel. More information is available at swiftly.com.
