Winn-Dixie Amazon Return Kiosks

Winn-Dixie is expanding its Amazon return kiosks to 68 stores across 23 Florida counties, giving more customers an easier way to return Amazon packages while grocery shopping.

The expansion builds on a pilot program at 20 Winn-Dixie stores in the Jacksonville area, including in Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.

“We’ve seen incredible enthusiasm from customers using Amazon return kiosks in our North Florida stores, and that response has inspired us to bring this convenient service to even more communities across our home state,” said Adam Kirk, chief customer and digital officer for Winn-Dixie’s parent company, Southeastern Grocers.

“Our ongoing collaboration with Amazon is another example of how Winn-Dixie is innovating to meet our customers where they are – creating more convenience, more value and more reasons to choose Winn-Dixie as their trusted neighborhood store.”

The program allows customers to return eligible Amazon items during their grocery run – no shipping box, tape or label is required. Bags and labels are provided at the kiosks.

“We’re always seeking ways to make the returns experience seamless and more convenient for our customers. Our collaboration with Winn-Dixie brings hassle-free, shipping box-free returns directly to where customers already shop,” said Gopal Pillai, VP of worldwide returns and e-commerce at Amazon.

“The enthusiastic response from our pilot program demonstrated customers value this convenience, and we’re excited to expand to more Florida communities, furthering our commitment to exceptional customer experiences.”

The 23 counties receiving the kiosks include: Brevard, Broward, Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lake, Lee, Manatee, Marion, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Palm Beach, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sumter.

Kiosk users receive a $10 off $50 Winn-Dixie coupon through the Winn-Dixie Rewards app after completing a return. A QR code on the kiosk screen activates the coupon in the app for use on the next shopping trip.

The kiosk expansion comes as Winn-Dixie and Amazon also recently launched an online grocery shopping option, allowing customers to shop for Winn-Dixie groceries on Amazon with convenient delivery in the Jacksonville and Orlando areas.
